Artizen Curtains has had its roots in the Sunshine Coast curtain and soft furnishings industry for over 50 years, originally operating under Silver Star Curtains and servicing the Sunshine Coast and beyond. Artizen Curtains is a family-owned, family-run business. We take great pride in the fact that all our curtains and cushions are made in-store by our skilled sewers.


We have over 50 years of knowledge and experience, and offer each customer personalised, one-on-one service to help you find the perfect product. Artizen Curtains believes in old-school service, and we're always happy to see return customers from 25 years ago. We specialise in curtains, blinds, light upholstery and accessories.

Bronwyn The Owner


Bronwyn has been an integral part of this business since 1976, working for Silver Star Curtains and eventually buying the business in 2013 and rebranding as Artizen. Bronwyn is the team’s all-rounder, with over 50 years’ experience in both sales and sewing.

Having spent 48 years in the company, Bronwyn was trained and mentored by the original owner and still maintained a very close connection to her until her passing. Bronwyn still has a beautiful connection with her family. Bronwyn loves this business and her job, as she is passionate about making people happy and creating beautiful custom-made products. Bronwyn has a creative fulfilment combined with a love of the shop’s history and the trade.
